Researching Masks

For the performance (and the end of the narrative) the DJ's will both wear masks. We were inspired to do this after watching a music video by Hollywood Undead called 'Young'.

The masks they wear have all been designed and personalised by them, to reflect them in some way. We would like to take this idea and create two unique masks that would be part of the bands motif. In particular I like 'Da Kurlzz' mask.

For this, I have been researching into masks that we could buy and customise.

I like the style of the Venetian masks, as they cover the entire face and can hide the eyes, whilst still remaining quite human looking. If we could get a plain white coloured mask, we could spray paint and design it to how we like.

However the mask is hand made, thus making it extremely expensive, but this is the general idea of what we'd like the masks to look like.
